Staff Pharmacist in Arvin, CA

A full-time opportunity is available for a Compounding Pharmacist to support sterile and non-sterile compounding operations with a contract running through July 2026 and potential for permanent placement. This role is based in Bakersfield, CA, with a focus on delivering high-quality pharmacy services within compliance standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing all sterile and non-sterile compounding processes
• Performing final verification of prescriptions to ensure accuracy
• Filling, labeling, and prepackaging medications efficiently
• Communicating with healthcare providers for order clarifications and refills
• Counseling patients and addressing their medication-related questions
• Ensuring adherence to USP 795, 797, 800, and Board of Pharmacy regulations

Schedule and Location:

• Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM – 5:15 PM
• Full-time assignment through July 2026
• Position located in Bakersfield, CA

Qualifications:

• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy required
• Active California Pharmacist license mandatory
• 3 to 5 years of pharmacy experience, compounding preferred
• Retail pharmacy experience will be considered
• Strong communication skills and excellent organizational abilities
