This opportunity is for a contract Staff Pharmacist position at a 300-bed hospital located in the Auburn/Opelika area of Alabama. The facility offers a supportive environment primarily focused on inpatient pharmacy duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and dispense medications accurately in an inpatient setting
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure appropriate pharmacological care
• Utilize Cerner pharmacy IT systems for medication management
• Contribute to safe medication practices, with some exposure to sterile compounding considered a bonus

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Alabama pharmacist license is required
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Familiarity with hospital pharmacy operations and IT systems, specifically Cerner
• Ability to work independently and maintain high accuracy and attention to detail

Schedule and Location:

• Monday through Friday, day shifts with varied start times between 7:00 am and 8:00 am, ending at 4:30 pm
• Located in Auburn, AL, with convenient access in the East Alabama Med Center area
• Contract duration is a solid 13-plus weeks, with travel assignments available and the option for traditional temporary-to-hire placement
