Staff Pharmacist - Auburn, Alabama

This opportunity is seeking 2-3 travel pharmacists to support a well-established 300-bed hospital in the Auburn/Opelika area of East Alabama. The hospital focuses primarily on inpatient pharmacy operations with an emphasis on accuracy and patient safety.

The position offers the flexibility of either a solid 13+ week assignment or a time-to-hire option, with a start date sooner rather than later. This role is best suited for pharmacists with a minimum of 6 months to 1 year of inpatient experience and an active Alabama pharmacist license.

Key responsibilities include:

• Verifying and checking medication orders for accuracy
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care
• Supporting non-sterile compounding activities (sterile compounding experience is a plus but not required)
• Utilizing the Cerner pharmacy information system for order processing and documentation

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Day shifts with varied start times between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM, ending at 4:30 PM

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Licensed pharmacist in Alabama
• At least 6 months to 1 year inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Familiarity with Cerner pharmacy information systems
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
