A healthcare facility in Aurora, IL is seeking a Staff Pharmacist for a 13-week contract position starting March 23. Schedule:
- 3 days on / 3 days off rotation
- Mix of day and evening shifts
- Rotating weekends
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough checking and verification of medication orders
- Supervise pharmacy technicians ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Perform intravenous (IV) admixture checking to maintain safety standards
- Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system for order processing and documentation
- Deliver exceptional inpatient pharmacy services that support clinical teams and patient outcomes
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year recent inpatient pharmacy experience
- Active Illinois pharmacist license
- Proven familiarity with inpatient pharmacy workflows and EPIC EMR
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Experience supervising pharmacy technicians preferred
