This role offers an opportunity to support inpatient pharmaceutical care in a dynamic hospital setting, working a 3/3 schedule that includes a mix of day and evening shifts, plus rotating weekends. The contract spans 13 weeks, starting from March 23.

Location: Aurora, IL
Schedule:

  • 3 days on / 3 days off rotation
  • Shifts include day and evening coverage
  • Rotating weekends

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform typical inpatient pharmacy duties such as medication order verification and checking
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians effectively
  • Conduct thorough IV admixture checks ensuring compliance and patient safety
  • Utilize EPIC EMR system for accurate documentation and medication order management

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
  • Licensed Pharmacist in Illinois
  • Demonstrated ability to work flexible shifts in a fast-paced hospital environment
  • Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records is required
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
