Staff Pharmacist | Aurora, Illinois

A healthcare facility is seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist for a contract position in Aurora, IL. This assignment spans approximately 13 weeks, beginning on March 23, and requires flexibility to work a mix of day and evening shifts, including rotating weekends.

Schedule/Hours:

• 3 days on, 3 days off rotation
• Mix of days and evenings
• Rotating weekends

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform typical inpatient pharmacy duties such as medication verification and order checking
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient operations
• Check and verify IV medications
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system for accurate documentation

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• At least 1 year of recent inpatient pharmacy experience
• Familiarity and proficiency with EPIC EMR system
• Active Illinois pharmacist license
• Demonstrated ability to manage pharmacy tech supervision and inpatient workflows
