Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - Austin, TX

A rapidly growing pharmacy in Austin, TX is seeking qualified Staff Pharmacists for per diem shifts to support daily pharmacy operations. This opportunity allows you to provide essential pharmaceutical care on a flexible schedule, ensuring patients receive timely and accurate medication services.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Multiple coverage windows available: mid-June and mid-July

Location:

• Austin, Texas

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and dispense medications accurately using Pioneer Rx system
• Provide patient counseling and ensure safe medication practices
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacy technicians and healthcare teams
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety protocols
• Support efficient pharmacy workflow during assigned shifts

Desired Qualifications:

• Active pharmacist license in the state of Texas
• Experience with Pioneer Rx or similar pharmacy software preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous per diem or flexible scheduling experience a plus
