Per Diem Staff Pharmacist | Beaverton, Oregon

A small, 25-bed critical access hospital located on the WA/OR border is seeking a skilled pharmacist to provide relief coverage. This per diem role offers the opportunity to work in a close-knit healthcare setting, supporting patient care with a dedicated pharmacy team.

The position requires a minimum of one year of current hospital pharmacy experience. Initial training will be provided over a few days to familiarize you with the facility’s systems and protocols before you provide coverage on scheduled dates.

Responsibilities include:

• Dispensing medications accurately and safely in a hospital setting
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy
• Utilizing Cerner electronic health records and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
• Supporting pharmacy technicians who assist during the shift

Schedule & Hours:

• 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM shifts
• Coverage dates: July 16, 17, 20, 23, 24, 30, 31; August 6, 7, 14, 15, 20, 21, 24, 25; Fridays in September
• No call responsibilities

Qualifications:

• At least one year of recent hospital pharmacy experience
• Familiarity with Cerner EHR and Pyxis systems is preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt quickly in a small hospital environment
