Support retail pharmacy operations in multiple Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) clinics across the Baltimore area with a per diem role requiring 1-2 days per week. This position offers a dynamic work environment where managing pharmacy technicians, counseling patients, and administering vaccines are key responsibilities. Flexibility to float among several locations is essential.
Locations include:
- Highlandtown
- Belair
- St. Agnes
- Rosedale
- Yard 56
Schedule & Hours:
- Per diem, 1-2 days per week as needed
- Day shifts, Monday through Saturday
Responsibilities:
- Conduct typical outpatient pharmacy duties, including medication dispensing and patient counseling
- Manage pharmacy technicians effectively
- Administer immunizations and vaccines
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations similar to hospital settings
- Utilize ScriptPro software (training provided)
- Adapt to a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years recent retail pharmacy experience
- Strong ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of 340B drug pricing program highly preferred
- Spanish language skills are a significant plus
- Active Maryland pharmacist license required
- Prepared for health screenings consistent with hospital compliance standards
