Staff Pharmacist - Bellefonte, Pennsylvania

A hospital-based pharmacist position is available to support a community hospital of approximately 150 beds. The role offers an engaging environment involving order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, and collaborating closely with physicians to ensure optimal patient care. This opportunity requires a licensed pharmacist with a strong foundation in inpatient pharmacy practice and a willingness to work variable days and afternoon shifts with some schedule flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise and guide pharmacy technicians
• Consult with physicians and healthcare teams on medication therapy management
• Utilize hospital IT systems such as Meditech, PharmacyKeeper, and Pyxis to support pharmacy operations

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist in Pennsylvania
• Minimum of 1 year inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Familiarity or experience with Meditech hospital information system is highly preferred
• Full-time availability with flexibility for varying shifts

Schedule:
