Pharmacist in Bellefonte, PA

A hospital-based pharmacist opportunity is available to support a community hospital with approximately 150 beds. This contract position begins as soon as possible and extends for 5 to 6 months or longer. The schedule includes variable days and afternoon shifts with some flexibility.

Responsibilities include order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, consulting with physicians, and other essential inpatient pharmacy duties. The ideal candidate will have a Pennsylvania pharmacist license and at least one year of inpatient experience. Experience working with Meditech pharmacy systems is highly preferred. Familiarity with PharmacyKeeper and Pyxis is also beneficial.

Key Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist in Pennsylvania
• Minimum one year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Full-time availability for variable day and afternoon shifts
• Experience with Meditech pharmacy system highly desired
• Ability to supervise pharmacy technicians and coordinate with medical staff
