Staff Pharmacist | Belleville, Illinois

This opportunity is for a Staff Pharmacist to support pharmacy operations with a contract position based in Belleville, IL. The role requires strong skills in filling, checking, verifying prescriptions, and providing patient counseling in a retail pharmacy environment.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00am – 7:00pm (24-30 hours per week)
• Saturday: 9:00am – 2:00pm
• Sunday: Emergency orders only, with on-call from 7:00am – 7:00pm (on-call paid at $8/hr)

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and verify prescriptions to ensure patient safety and compliance
• Counsel patients on medications, usage, and potential side effects
• Manage typical retail pharmacy duties and documentation

Qualifications:

• Illinois Pharmacy License required
• PharmD preferred
• Experience with PioneerRx system highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
