Staff Pharmacist - Bemidji, MN

A contract opportunity is available for a pharmacist role within a specialty pharmacy setting in Grand Rapids, MN, offering a blend of retail and long-term care responsibilities. This position provides a dynamic environment where your expertise will support both community pharmacy needs and long-term care patient management. The assignment duration spans approximately 13 weeks, with the potential for extension.

Location:

• Grand Rapids, MN

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Possible rotating weekends

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications and provide pharmaceutical care in a specialty retail pharmacy
• Manage long-term care pharmacy duties including medication review and consultation
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations
• Provide immunizations and participate in medication therapy management (MTM)
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications:

• Active Minnesota Pharmacy License
• Immunization Certification
• CPR Certification
• PharmD degree and/or MTM Certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of retail and long-term care pharmacy practices
• Excellent communication and patient counseling skills
