Staff Pharmacist

PHARMACIST — CONTRACT TO HIRE

We’re seeking a Pharmacist for a 13-week contract with potential for permanent hire. Retail pharmacists are welcome, with training available for candidates transitioning into this setting.

Requirements:

• Active Arkansas Pharmacist License in hand

• Pharmacist experience required

• Retail pharmacists welcome and will be trained

• PV1/PV2 experience preferred

• IV experience preferred

Responsibilities:

• Review, prepare, and dispense prescription medications

• Verify prescriptions and ensure medication safety

• Provide medication counseling and consultation

• Monitor medication use and identify potential drug-related issues

• Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounded medications

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff

• Maintain pharmacy inventory and records

• Communicate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals

• Follow applicable pharmacy laws and regulations

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM

• Rotating weekends every 3 weeks

• 13-week contract with potential permanent placement
