Inpatient Staff Pharmacist - Bernalillo, NM

A hospital inpatient pharmacist position is available at a 315-bed facility in Bernalillo, NM. This contract role offers a 13-week assignment starting on March 10, working the 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM shift with every other weekend coverage.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense medications for hospitalized patients in accordance with prescriptions and hospital protocols
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal pharmaceutical care and patient safety
• Maintain accurate medication records and manage inventory within the inpatient setting
• Monitor patients for drug interactions and adverse effects, providing appropriate interventions

Qualifications:

• Active New Mexico pharmacist license required
• Minimum of 2 years of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Strong knowledge of inpatient pharmacy operations and hospital protocols
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Schedule:

• 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM shift
• Every other weekend coverage
