Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - Bethel Park, PA

Provide expert pharmaceutical care in a retail environment supporting patient health and medication safety. This per diem role requires working under the direct supervision of the pharmacy manager to deliver high-quality service and ensure safe and accurate dispensing of medications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
• Counsel and advise patients on medication regimens, potential side effects, and proper usage
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally according to organizational guidelines
• Maintain accurate stock records, including controlled substances and inventories
• Clarify third-party coverage issues and resolve patient medication-related problems

Desired Qualifications:

• Active and clear pharmacist license in Pennsylvania
• Minimum of 1 year of retail pharmacy experience
• Familiarity with Pioneer pharmacy software or ability to quickly adapt to new systems
• Strong communication skills for effective patient counseling and issue resolution
• Attention to detail and commitment to regulatory compliance

Schedule:

• Per diem position
• Shift: 1st
