Staff Pharmacist in Black Hawk, SD

An experienced Retail Pharmacist opportunity is available for a 13+ week contract assignment in South Dakota. This role involves working up to 40 hours per week within a retail pharmacy located inside a grocery store, providing essential pharmacy services to the community.

Location: South Dakota
Schedule:

• Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
• Up to 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and verify prescriptions
• Review and check pharmacy technician work for accuracy
• Provide patient counseling with clear and compassionate communication
• Handle pharmacy and patient phone inquiries professionally
• Support day-to-day retail pharmacy operations
• Assist the Pharmacist-in-Charge with additional duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Active South Dakota Pharmacist license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year recent retail pharmacy experience
• Strong communication and patient service skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within the pharmacy team
