A Specialty Pharmacy in Grand Rapids, MN is seeking a licensed Pharmacist for a contract assignment of 13+ weeks. This role offers a dynamic blend of retail and long-term care pharmacy duties in a well-established setting, providing the opportunity to engage with diverse patient care needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform dispensing and verification duties for both retail and long-term care prescriptions.
• Manage medication therapy to ensure patient safety and optimal therapeutic outcomes.
• Provide immunizations and monitor patient health as trained and certified.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support medication management in long-term care facilities.
• Participate in rotating weekend shifts as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Minnesota Pharmacist License.
• Immunization certification and CPR certification required.
• PharmD degree or MTM certification preferred.
• Experience in retail and long-term care pharmacy settings is an advantage.
• Strong communication and patient counseling skills.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• Possible rotating weekends.
