Staff Pharmacist | Blue Diamond, Nevada

A specialty pharmacy in Blue Diamond, NV, is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead their brand-new facility focused on compounding operations. This permanent direct-hire opportunity offers the chance to oversee and grow an innovative pharmacy specializing in GLP1s, allergy medications, and immunotherapies. The new PIC will play a pivotal role in building a high-performing team of pharmacists and technicians while ensuring top-tier regulatory compliance.

• Blue Diamond, NV (Las Vegas area)

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday day shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the designated Pharmacist-in-Charge, maintaining compliance with USP, FDA, and state board regulations
• Oversee sterile compounding workflows, personnel management, and quality assurance programs
• Ensure adherence to multi-state pharmacy regulations, including California and other states where the pharmacy operates
• Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for sterile compounding
• Hire, train, and supervise pharmacists and pharmacy technicians
• Manage inspections, audits, and interactions with regulatory bodies
• Oversee environmental monitoring, validation, and documentation efforts
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and dispensing of compounded sterile preparations
• Collaborate on operational strategy, expansion, and licensing efforts
• Maintain accurate records and inspection readiness at all times

Qualifications:

• Active Nevada pharmacy license required; possession of California license is highly preferred
• Minimum of three years’ experience in hospital, infusion, or specialty pharmacy settings
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to grow a pharmacy team
• Willingness and ability to obtain additional licenses as business expansion requires
• Experience in regulatory compliance and sterile compounding practices

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive salary around $170,000 per year with $10,000 in annual incentives
