Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Bluefield, VA

A retail pharmacy is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to support day-to-day operations on Fridays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM in Bluefield, VA. This per diem role offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment focused on retail and non-sterile compounding pharmacy services.

Responsibilities include performing retail prescription checks with minimal patient counseling, and verifying non-sterile compounded medications that require careful math calculations based on formulas. You will primarily work with the Pioneer RX order entry system to ensure accuracy and efficiency on the retail line.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Virginia pharmacy license is required.
• Experience in retail pharmacy settings is essential.
