Staff Pharmacist | Bonanza, Oregon

A 13-week opportunity is available for an experienced pharmacist to support inpatient care at a 100-bed community hospital located in Southern Oregon. This travel pharmacist role offers flexible scheduling with 4 ten-hour shifts per week, primarily variable days and afternoons, providing a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure safe and effective medication dispensing.
• Consult with physicians and nurses to optimize pharmacotherapy.
• Participate in pharmacokinetic evaluations and dosing adjustments.
• Utilize EPIC and Pyxis for medication management and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Active Oregon pharmacist license.
• Minimum of 1 year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience.
• Full-time availability for the duration of the assignment.
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis automated dispensing systems preferred.
