Staff Pharmacist in Boonville, IN

A full-time Pharmacist position is available to provide coverage for maternity leave starting in January at a newly established 340B pharmacy affiliated with a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). This engaging role offers the opportunity to work with a newly launched facility using the PioneerRX software system, with training available.

Location:

• Boonville, Indiana

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
• No weekends or holidays

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct final medication reviews and accuracy checks
• Provide patient counseling as needed
• Oversee pharmacy technician workflow and activities
• Dispense medications ensuring compliance with pharmacy protocols

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active, clear Indiana Pharmacist license
• Previous experience with 340B pharmacy operations is highly preferred but not required
• Open to new graduates with a willingness to learn and adapt
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

Additional Information:

• Contract assignment with a duration of 13 weeks, with potential to transition to permanent employment
• The permanent role involves working three days per week on a schedule complementary to the pharmacist currently on maternity leave
