Staff Pharmacist in Boonville, IN

A full-time staff pharmacist position is available to cover a maternity leave at a newly established 340B pharmacy within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). The role offers a 13-week contract-to-hire opportunity with an immediate start. Upon transition to permanent status, the pharmacist will work three days per week on a schedule complementary to the pharmacist currently on leave.

Location:

• Boonville, IN

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• No weekends or holidays

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct final medication reviews and checks to ensure accuracy and safety
• Provide patient counseling as needed
• Supervise pharmacy technicians in daily operations
• Dispense medications following regulations and protocols
• Utilize PioneerRX software (training provided)

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Indiana pharmacist license required
• Experience in 340B pharmacy operations is highly preferred
• Open to new graduates with relevant licensure
