Staff Pharmacist | Box Elder, South Dakota

An immediate opportunity is available for a skilled Retail Pharmacist in South Dakota, offering a 13+ week contract assignment. This role involves working up to 40 hours per week in a retail pharmacy setting inside a grocery store, providing essential pharmacy services to the local community.

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
• Up to 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and verify prescription orders
• Review and oversee work completed by pharmacy technicians
• Provide thorough patient counseling to ensure safe medication usage
• Respond to pharmacy and patient phone inquiries promptly
• Assist with daily retail pharmacy operations to maintain efficiency
• Support the Pharmacist-in-Charge with additional duties as required

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active South Dakota Pharmacist license in good standing
• Minimum of one year recent experience in retail pharmacy practice
• Strong communication skills with a commitment to patient service
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a pharmacy team
