Responsibilities

-Verify and process medication orders accurately and efficiently throughout the overnight shift
-Supervise and support pharmacy technician staff during night hours
-Perform pharmacokinetic monitoring and dosing adjustments for targeted medications
-Consult with physicians and nurses on medication therapy and patient care needs
-Ensure safe medication dispensing and regulatory compliance throughout all overnight operations
-Provide reliable and independent clinical coverage across all hospital units during night shift hours

Experience

-Hospital pharmacy experience required
-Night shift inpatient pharmacy experience strongly preferred
-Pharmacokinetics experience preferred
-Community hospital experience is a plus

Skills

-Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently overnight
-Comfortable supervising pharmacy technician staff during night hours
-Effective communicator with physicians, nurses, and healthcare team members
-Calm, reliable, and confident during overnight emergencies
-Willing to travel to various Tennessee locations for assignments

Qualifications

-Active Tennessee Pharmacist License required

Education

-Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy
