Staff Pharmacist in Bridgeton, NJ

You will work closely with patients and healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication use while managing pharmacy operations with precision and care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accept and dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor patient medication adherence and identify over-usage patterns.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for medicine supply and storage.
• Maintain confidential and accurate patient and pharmacy records.
• Provide patient counseling regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
• Offer additional health services such as smoking cessation support, blood pressure monitoring, and cholesterol management.
• Educate patients in the correct use of medical devices like blood pressure monitors and glucose meters.
• Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions as per established protocols.
• Supervise pharmacy staff, including technicians and clerks, to maintain smooth pharmacy operations.
• Communicate effectively with physicians and healthcare teams to resolve drug-related issues.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required.
• Active and valid state pharmacy license (NJ) is mandatory.
• Proven experience in community or hospital pharmacy settings.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate pharmacy staff efficiently.

• Location: Bridgeton, NJ
• Shift: Days with some evenings and rotating weekends
