Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - Bronx, NY

A per diem opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to provide retail pharmacy coverage in the Bronx, NY on July 13th. This role is ideal for a pharmacist with experience in retail settings who can deliver safe, accurate dispensing and excellent patient counseling.

Schedule:

• July 13th, Monday
• 1st shift: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications under the supervision of the pharmacy manager, ensuring accuracy and safety.
• Counsel patients on their medication regimens, usage, and potential side effects.
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in line with organizational policies.
• Maintain stock levels, manage controlled drug inventories, and uphold proper records.
• Resolve issues related to third-party insurance coverage and patient questions.

Qualifications:

• Active and clear pharmacist license in New York State.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in retail pharmacy.
• Familiarity with Pioneer pharmacy software is a plus.
