Staff Pharmacist in Bronx, NY

An immediate opening is available for a Staff Pharmacist to support a busy retail pharmacy located in Bronx, NY. This 13-week contract-to-hire role offers a rewarding opportunity to work a consistent 4x10 schedule, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, from 9am to 7pm, with no weekend shifts.

Responsibilities include verifying and checking prescriptions accurately to ensure patient safety and high-quality care. This position does not involve vaccine administration, allowing focused attention on prescription accuracy and workflow efficiency.

The pharmacy operates on the BestRx system, with on-site support from a dedicated team that includes 3 pharmacy technicians, 1 delivery person, and the store manager. With an average volume of 200 prescriptions per day, reliable and detail-oriented service is essential.

Qualifications:

• Active and clear New York State Pharmacist License
• Local candidates preferred for immediate start
• New graduates encouraged to apply
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Familiarity with BestRx is preferred but not required; training will be provided
