Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Bronx, NY

An opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist to support an expanding closed-door delivery pharmacy serving the Bronx community. This per diem position offers flexible scheduling on a variety of shifts throughout the coming weeks, ideal for pharmacists looking to contribute to a growing pharmacy team in a fast-paced environment.

Location:

• Bronx, NY
• Pharmacy Address: 122 W 146th St, New York, NY 10039

Schedule/Hours:

• Multiple shifts available from early mornings through evenings, including weekdays and weekends
• Examples include 8a-6p, 10a-8p, and 8a-4p shifts on select dates between February 4th and February 21st

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately from a closed-door pharmacy, supporting delivery operations
• Utilize Pioneer Rx system effectively for prescription processing and management
• Collaborate closely with a dedicated team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to ensure seamless pharmacy workflow and patient safety
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and company policies

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid pharmacist license
• Experience working with Pioneer Rx or a similar pharmacy management system preferred
• Ability to work independently and efficiently within a team-oriented, fast-moving environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient confidentiality and safety
