Staff Pharmacist - Brooklyn, New York

An immediate opening is available for a Staff Pharmacist in a retail setting, located in the Bronx, NY. This role is contract-to-hire, with a 13-week initial period. The position became urgent due to recent staffing changes, requiring a pharmacist to start as soon as possible.

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
• 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM (4x10 schedule, no weekends)

Team Structure:

• 3 Pharmacy Technicians
• 1 Delivery Person
• Store Manager

Volume: Approximately 200 prescriptions per day

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately checking and verifying prescriptions
• Maintaining compliance with pharmacy policies and regulations
• Collaborating with the pharmacy team for efficient workflow
• Note: No vaccine administration required for this position

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Must be local to the Bronx, NY area
• Clear and active New York State Pharmacist License
• Retail pharmacy experience preferred but not required
• Familiarity with BestRx system is a plus; training available
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
