A growing closed-door delivery pharmacy in New York City is seeking skilled staff pharmacists to provide exceptional pharmaceutical care in a fast-paced environment. With recent expansion efforts, this team is ready to meet increasing patient needs and requires dedicated professionals to cover upcoming shifts quickly.

Location:

  • Brooklyn, NY (pharmacy address: 122 W 146th St, New York, NY 10039)

Schedule:

  • Per diem availability to cover various shifts from early mornings to evenings, including weekday and weekend coverage
  • Shifts are primarily 8 to 10 hours, examples include 8 AM to 6 PM and 10 AM to 8 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Dispense medications accurately and safely according to prescription orders
  • Utilize the Pioneer Rx system for prescription processing and documentation
  • Collaborate closely with a strong team of pharmacists and technicians to ensure seamless pharmacy operations
  • Support patient counseling and address any medication-related inquiries
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant regulatory and safety standards

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid pharmacist license and credentials to practice in New York State
  • Experience working in a pharmacy environment, preferably familiar with closed-door or delivery pharmacy models
  • Proficiency with Pioneer Rx software or willingness to learn quickly
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work efficiently as part of a team
  • Commitment to reliable availability for per diem shifts
