Per Diem Staff Pharmacist | Burnet, Texas

A staffing opportunity is available for a licensed Staff Pharmacist to provide essential per diem coverage in Burnet, TX. This role involves working closely with a supportive pharmacy team that utilizes Pioneer Rx software and benefits from full pharmacy technician support. The position demands dedication to delivering high-quality patient care throughout scheduled shifts.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Coverage needed for two separate weeks: June 15-19, 2026, and July 13-17, 2026

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medications in compliance with legal and safety standards
• Review prescriptions for validity and potential interactions
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication regimens
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians during shifts
• Maintain proper documentation and inventory control within the pharmacy system

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Valid pharmacist license in the state of Texas
• Proficiency with Pioneer Rx or similar pharmacy management software preferred
• Demonstrated ability to perform independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Previous experience in a community or outpatient pharmacy setting
