This opportunity is for experienced pharmacists seeking an inpatient role within a reputable medical center in Ventura County. The position offers a full-time schedule with varied shifts, primarily four 10-hour shifts per week, and may include swing shifts, weekends, and some holidays. The assignment is approximately 3 to 6 months with the potential to transition from a contract to a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality pharmaceutical care in an inpatient setting
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate medication management
• Participate in medication preparation, dispensing, and documentation
• Adhere to all safety and compliance standards within the facility
• Support patient care through effective communication and clinical knowledge

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active California Pharmacist license required
• Prior experience in inpatient pharmacy preferred
• Familiarity with Cerner systems is a plus, but training is available
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including potential weekends and holidays
