Staff Pharmacist in Cambridge, MA

A direct hire opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist at a new facility in Cambridge, MA, with a preferred start date in early December. This role offers a unique chance to take leadership in a growing pharmacy setting, with flexible scheduling designed by the pharmacist-in-charge (PIC).

Location: Cambridge, MA
Schedule/Hours:

• PIC sets their own schedule
• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM (Monday through Saturday)
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM (Monday through Saturday)

Responsibilities:

• Lead pharmacy operations in a newly established Long Term Care (LTC) setting, ensuring compliance and quality patient care
• Manage daily dispensing activities and oversee medication distribution processes
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize pharmaceutical care and patient outcomes
• Utilize the Frameworks pharmacy system for accurate record-keeping and workflow management
• Train and support retail pharmacists transitioning to LTC pharmacy operations

Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts pharmacist license in good standing is required
• Prior experience with LTC operations highly preferred
• Retail pharmacists with a willingness to learn and be trained in LTC pharmacy operations are encouraged to apply
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
