Staff Pharmacist in Camden, NJ

Located in Camden, NJ, this direct hire position offers an opportunity for a skilled Staff Pharmacist to work in a closed-door, long-term care facility. The role focuses on daily medication management and oversight, supporting efficient pharmacy operations within a high-volume setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial and final medication reviews using Frameworks software (training provided)
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians
• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently
• Manage an average volume of approximately 600 prescriptions per day
• Adhere to scheduled shifts, including rotating every 3rd weekend and select holiday coverage

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Every 3rd weekend rotation with shifts on Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM or 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Minimum coverage required for one summer and one winter holiday

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active and clear NJ Pharmacist license required
• Previous pharmacy experience, ideally in a high-volume environment
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain accuracy under fast-paced conditions
• Willingness to learn new software systems (Frameworks)
