Staff Pharmacist in Camden, NJ

A direct hire opportunity is available for a Mid Shift Staff Pharmacist at a closed-door Long-Term Care (LTC) facility in Camden, NJ. This role involves managing a high-volume pharmacy operation with an average of 600 prescriptions per day. The position requires excellent efficiency, strong leadership skills, and the ability to navigate pharmacy software, with training provided for the Frameworks system.

Location: Camden, NJ
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
• Every 3rd weekend rotating
• Weekend shifts: Saturday and Sunday, either 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM or 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Minimum of one summer and one winter holiday required

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial medication reviews using Frameworks software (training provided)
• Perform final medication checks and reviews
• Supervise and oversee pharmacy technicians
• Accurately dispense medications in compliance with facility protocols

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active and clear NJ Pharmacist license
• Previous pharmacy experience, ideally in a high-volume setting
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain speed without compromising accuracy
• Strong communication and organizational skills to oversee technician staff
