Staff Pharmacist | Camden, New Jersey

A direct hire opportunity is available for an experienced Staff Pharmacist to work the evening shift at a closed-door long-term care (LTC) pharmacy. This role offers the chance to contribute to high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, high-volume setting, serving approximately 600 prescriptions daily. The position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently while ensuring accuracy and safety in medication dispensing and reviews.

Location: Camden, NJ
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 4:00pm – 12:30am
• Every third weekend rotation covering:
  • Saturday: 11:00am – 9:00pm or 1:00pm – 10:00pm
  • Sunday: 11:00am – 9:00pm or 1:00pm – 10:00pm
• Minimum of one summer and one winter holiday required

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial prescription reviews using the Frameworks software (training available)
• Perform final medication checks to ensure accuracy and safety
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians throughout shifts
• Dispense medications accurately while managing workload efficiently

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active, clear New Jersey Pharmacist license required
• Proven pharmacy experience, preferably in a high-volume environment
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently without compromising accuracy
• Comfortable overseeing pharmacy technicians and coordinating workflow
