Staff Pharmacist - Camden, NJ

A healthcare facility specializing in long-term care is seeking an experienced pharmacist for an evening shift role in a closed-door pharmacy setting. This direct-hire position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with an average volume of around 600 prescriptions per day. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, efficient, and capable of overseeing pharmacy technicians while ensuring accurate medication dispensing.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial and final medication reviews using the Frameworks software system (training provided)
• Oversee and support pharmacy technicians throughout the shift
• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently
• Maintain compliance with all pharmacy regulations and protocols
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM
• Rotating every third weekend coverage
• Weekend shifts on Saturday and Sunday: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM or 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Minimum of one summer and one winter holiday shift required

Qualifications:

• Active and clear NJ Pharmacist license
• Prior pharmacy experience, preferably in a high-volume or LTC setting
• Ability to manage workload efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable with learning and utilizing pharmacy software (Frameworks)
