Provide comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services at a JCAHO-accredited healthcare facility serving a culturally diverse population across a broad region. This contract position involves working on a 7-on/7-off rotation (Wednesday through Tuesday) with alternating Monday to Friday shifts from 8 AM to 9 PM. The 13-week assignment starts ASAP and does not require an Arizona pharmacy license.

Location: Cameron, AZ (Primary work takes place at the main campus and nearby satellite clinics).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct patient care and medication services for a wide range of patient groups, including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, oncology, and obstetric populations.
  • Perform clinical pharmacy services covering inpatient and outpatient departments.
  • Participate in rotational shifts covering days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Advance through tiered pharmacist roles up to Advanced Practice Pharmacist levels, managing specialized clinics and clinical programs.
  • Provide administrative oversight and technical supervision of pharmacy staff including pharmacists, technicians, assistants, and billers.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and contribute to program development aligned with the facility’s mission.

Desired Experience:

  • Licensed pharmacist (AZ license not required for this position).
  • Ability to work diverse shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Experience in clinical pharmacy services and medication management.
  • Leadership capabilities for supervising multidisciplinary pharmacy teams.
  • Commitment to culturally competent care in a diverse community environment.

Housing: Limited shared housing available at $600/month based on availability. Facility policy permits no family members or pets.
