Per Diem Retail Pharmacist Coverage – Washington, Pennsylvania

This role involves providing retail pharmacy services under the direct supervision of the pharmacy manager. The pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, counseling patients, and maintaining compliance with organizational policies to ensure safe and efficient medication delivery.

Schedule & Location:

• Assignment start date: August 7th
• Shift: 1st Shift
• Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Location: Washington, Pennsylvania

Core Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications safely and efficiently to customers
• Counsel and advise patients on medication use and regimens
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints according to policies
• Maintain accurate stock and controlled substance records and inventories
• Resolve patient issues and clarify third-party insurance coverage questions
• Utilize Pioneer pharmacy software for daily operations

Qualifications:

• Active and clear pharmacist license for the state of Pennsylvania
• Minimum of 1 year of retail pharmacy experience
