Mail Order Staff Pharmacist in Cave Creek, AZ

A growing mail order pharmacy in Scottsdale, AZ, is seeking a dedicated pharmacist to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong work ethic and flexibility to work varying shifts, including potential Saturdays. Location: Scottsdale, AZ (commute considerations recommended)
Job Type: Contract, with potential for hire
Duration: 13 weeks
Start: ASAP
Shift: Flexible to work 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM and/or 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, including possible Saturday coverage

Responsibilities:

• Check and verify prescriptions with accuracy and efficiency (60-80 checks per hour)
• Accurately count, dispense, and label medications
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure compliance and workflow
• Maintain a clean, safe pharmacy environment following Arizona Board of Pharmacy policies

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Arizona pharmacist license required
• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
• Proven accuracy, adaptability, and strong attention to detail
