An established mail order pharmacy is seeking experienced pharmacists to take on a contract opportunity based in Cave Creek, AZ. This role involves serving as a checking/verifying pharmacist with a focus on accuracy, speed, and compliance within a fast-paced environment. The position requires flexibility to work shifts from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, including occasional Saturday coverage. The contract duration is 13 weeks with potential for conversion to a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough checking and verification of prescriptions at a rate of 60-80 checks per hour
• Accurately count, dispense, and label medications according to regulatory standards
• Supervise and collaborate with pharmacy technicians
• Ensure pharmacy compliance with Arizona Board of Pharmacy policies to maintain a safe and clean environment
