Per Diem Staff Pharmacist | Cedar Bluff, Virginia

This Per Diem opportunity seeks a Staff Pharmacist to support retail and compounding operations with shifts every Friday, 9am to 5pm, in a Cedar Bluff, VA location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform retail prescription checks through Pioneer RX order entry system
• Verify and review non sterile compounding formulations, including calculations
• Focus primarily on accuracy and compliance with limited patient counseling
• Ensure safety and quality in dispensing medication for retail pharmacy

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Current Virginia pharmacist license required
• Proven experience working in retail pharmacy settings
• Familiarity with non sterile compounding is a strong advantage
• Attention to detail and strong math skills related to formula calculations

Schedule/Hours:

• Fridays, 9am - 5pm
