Staff Pharmacist | Chadron, Nebraska

A travel pharmacist opportunity is available in Chadron, NE, starting mid-August for a 13-week contract. This role offers a chance to work day shifts in a well-equipped pharmacy environment utilizing Cerner and Omnicell systems.

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately to ensure patient safety.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth operations.
• Consult with physicians regarding medication therapies and patient care.
• Apply pharmacokinetics principles to optimize dosing regimens.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with pharmacy policies and regulations.

Schedule:

• Weekdays: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Saturdays: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Sundays: Closed

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active pharmacist license and relevant certifications.
• Proficient in Cerner and Omnicell pharmacy systems.
• Strong knowledge of drug therapies and pharmacokinetics.
