Provide essential pharmacy services as a Staff Pharmacist in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving an underserved community. This position supports the clinic’s mission to deliver accessible, patient-focused care in a single pharmacist and technician environment, utilizing the PioneerRx system.
Location:
- Charlotte, NC
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
- No weekends
Responsibilities:
- Manage medication dispensing and counseling in an FQHC/340B program setting
- Collaborate closely with clinical staff to ensure safe and effective medication use
- Provide personalized patient care, addressing the needs of an underserved population
- Support pharmacy operations alongside one technician, fostering a team-based environment
- Maintain compliance with state pharmacy laws and clinic policies
Qualifications:
- Current NC Pharmacist license (required)
- 1-3 years of pharmacist experience, preferably in an FQHC or similar setting
- Experience working with underserved populations preferred
- Comfortable working independently in a one pharmacist/one technician environment
- Spanish language skills highly preferred, as the technician speaks Spanish and bilingual communication is beneficial
