Support essential healthcare services as a Staff Pharmacist on a per diem basis, providing crucial coverage for call offs, PTO, and vacations in a federally qualified health center (FQHC) setting. This opportunity offers the chance to contribute to patient care within a community health clinic serving an underserved population.

Position Details:

  • Location: Charlotte, NC
  • Setting: FQHC/340B clinic
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (no weekends)
  • Frequency: Approximately 2 shifts per month
  • System: PioneerRx

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense medications accurately and safely, ensuring compliance with FQHC protocols.
  • Provide patient-focused pharmaceutical care, addressing the needs of underserved populations.
  • Collaborate efficiently within a team comprising one pharmacist and one pharmacy technician.
  • Utilize your expertise to support clinical services and maintain medication inventory.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, with added value for Spanish-speaking candidates.

Qualifications:

  • Active North Carolina Pharmacist license (required)
  • 1 to 3 years of professional pharmacist experience
  • Prior experience in an FQHC or similar community health setting preferred
  • Comfortable working independently within a small pharmacy team
  • Spanish language skills are a plus but not mandatory (technician is bilingual)
