Support essential healthcare services as a Staff Pharmacist on a per diem basis, providing crucial coverage for call offs, PTO, and vacations in a federally qualified health center (FQHC) setting. Position Details:
- Location: Charlotte, NC
- Setting: FQHC/340B clinic
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (no weekends)
- Frequency: Approximately 2 shifts per month
- System: PioneerRx
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications accurately and safely, ensuring compliance with FQHC protocols.
- Provide patient-focused pharmaceutical care, addressing the needs of underserved populations.
- Collaborate efficiently within a team comprising one pharmacist and one pharmacy technician.
- Utilize your expertise to support clinical services and maintain medication inventory.
- Communicate effectively with patients, with added value for Spanish-speaking candidates.
Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina Pharmacist license (required)
- 1 to 3 years of professional pharmacist experience
- Prior experience in an FQHC or similar community health setting preferred
- Comfortable working independently within a small pharmacy team
- Spanish language skills are a plus but not mandatory (technician is bilingual)
