A Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Charlotte, NC is seeking a skilled Staff Pharmacist for per diem coverage, primarily to support call-offs, PTO, and vacation relief. This opportunity offers approximately two shifts per month within a patient-focused clinical setting serving an underserved community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive pharmacy services in an FQHC/340B environment
  • Manage medication dispensing and counseling with accuracy and care
  • Collaborate closely with a pharmacy technician in a one pharmacist/one technician model
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and system protocols using PioneerRx software
  • Deliver culturally competent care to a diverse patient population, enhancing medication adherence and health outcomes

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current North Carolina Pharmacist license (required)
  • 1-3 years of pharmacy experience
  • Prior experience in an FQHC or similar community health setting preferred
  • Comfort working independently with minimal supervision
  • Spanish language skills highly desirable but not mandatory, as pharmacy technician is bilingual

Schedule:

  • Typically Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
  • No weekend shifts required
  • Approximately two shifts monthly, providing flexibility and work-life balance
