Staff Pharmacist in Cherry Hill, NJ

A direct hire opportunity is available for an experienced pharmacist to work in a closed-door long-term care (LTC) setting. This role focuses on managing medication distribution and ensuring safe pharmaceutical practices in a high-volume environment, supporting patient care with accuracy and efficiency.

Location:

• Cherry Hill, NJ

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM (Day Shift)
• Rotating every 3rd weekend with shifts on Saturday and Sunday from either 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM or 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM
• Minimum of one summer and one winter holiday required

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial medication reviews using the Frameworks software system (training provided)
• Perform final medication verification and checks
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure compliance and workflow efficiency
• Dispense medications accurately and timely, managing roughly 600 prescriptions daily

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active and clear NJ Pharmacist license
• Previous pharmacy experience, preferably in a high-volume setting
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain accuracy under pressure
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
