Staff Pharmacist - Cherry Hill, NJ

A direct hire opportunity exists for a Mid Shift Staff Pharmacist to support a closed-door long-term care (LTC) facility. This role offers a structured weekday schedule paired with rotating weekend coverage, ideal for pharmacists seeking a consistent yet dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough initial medication reviews using Frameworks software (training provided)
• Perform final medication checks ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Oversee pharmacy technicians to support efficient dispensing operations
• Dispense medications accurately in a high-volume setting averaging 600 prescriptions daily
• Adhere to a schedule of Monday through Friday from 1:00pm to 9:30pm, with rotation every third weekend
• Weekend shifts alternate between 11:00am-9:00pm or 1:00pm-10:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays
• Coverage includes a minimum of one summer and one winter holiday

Qualifications:

• Active and clear NJ Pharmacist license
• Prior pharmacy experience, preferably in a high-volume or LTC environment
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced pharmacy setting
• Strong organizational and supervisory skills to manage technician workflow
