Staff Pharmacist in Cherry Hill, NJ

A direct hire opportunity is available for an Evening Shift Staff Pharmacist at a closed-door Long-Term Care facility. This role requires working closely within a high-volume pharmacy setting, managing up to 600 prescriptions daily, and ensuring accuracy and safety in medication dispensing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial and final medication reviews using Frameworks software (training provided).
• Oversee pharmacy technicians and support staff.
• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain compliance with all pharmacy regulations and facility policies.
• Work a Monday to Friday schedule from 4:00 pm to 12:30 am.
• Participate in a rotating schedule covering every third weekend.
• Work alternate weekend shifts: Saturday and Sunday, either 11:00 am – 9:00 pm or 1:00 pm – 10:00 pm.
• Commit to working at least one summer and one winter holiday per year.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and clear New Jersey Pharmacist license.
• Proven experience working in a pharmacy environment.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume pharmacy setting.
• Strong attention to detail and efficiency in medication management.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new software systems.

Location: The position is based in Cherry Hill, NJ, within a closed-door LTC facility.
