A direct hire opportunity is available for an experienced Staff Pharmacist to work in a closed-door, long-term care facility. This role focuses on maintaining medication safety and efficiency in a high-volume environment, serving roughly 600 prescriptions daily.

Shift and Schedule:

  • Evening Shift: Monday through Friday, 4:00pm - 12:30am
  • Rotating every third weekend
  • Weekend shifts: Saturday and Sunday from either 11:00am - 9:00pm or 1:00pm - 10:00pm
  • Required to work a minimum of one summer holiday and one winter holiday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform initial and final medication reviews using the Frameworks software system (training provided)
  • Oversee and collaborate with pharmacy technicians to ensure accurate dispensing
  • Dispense medications accurately and safely
  • Manage workflow to maintain efficiency in a fast-paced setting

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active and clear New Jersey Pharmacist license
  • Previous pharmacy experience, preferably in a high-volume or long-term care environment
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining accuracy
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new software tools
