An opportunity is available for a skilled Staff Pharmacist to support per diem pharmacy operations in Chicago, IL. This role is ideal for a highly adaptable and tech-savvy pharmacist who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and values strong teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage prescription intake and processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Dispense medications efficiently and accurately
  • Check and verify prescriptions with attention to detail
  • Handle inventory management to maintain adequate stock levels
  • Respond to patient inquiries professionally and knowledgeably
  • Collaborate closely with pharmacy technicians who provide strong support

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience working in a high-volume pharmacy setting
  • Comfort and familiarity with pharmacy technology, including automation and dispensing robots
  • Proficiency using Pioneer Rx software or similar pharmacy management systems
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
  • Strong pharmacy intuition with the ability to adapt quickly to changing workflows

Schedule:

  • Per diem coverage needed for selected dates: Friday 3/20, Tuesday 3/24, Friday 3/27, and Tuesday 3/31
  • Shifts run from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
