Staff Pharmacist in Chiloquin, OR

Seeking a skilled Staff Pharmacist for a rewarding contract opportunity at a 100-bed community hospital in Southern Oregon. This role is based near Klamath Falls and involves providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care in an inpatient setting. The position offers a 13-week assignment with a flexible schedule, perfect for pharmacists ready to bring their expertise to a close-knit healthcare environment.

Location:

• Southern Oregon, near Klamath Falls

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Variable days and afternoon hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Order verification and medication dispensing oversight
• Supervising pharmacy technicians to ensure accuracy and safety
• Collaborating with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care
• Managing pharmacokinetics and other clinical pharmacy services
• Utilizing EPIC and Pyxis systems for efficient workflow

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Oregon pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience
• Ability to work full-time hours with variable shifts
• Strong communication and clinical consultation skills
