Per Diem Pharmacist in Cicero, IL

Pharmacy professionals with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in fast-paced, high-volume settings are sought to provide per diem coverage in Cicero, IL. This role involves working alongside strong technician support and utilizing pharmacy automation technology to maintain efficient workflow in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process prescription intake accurately and efficiently
• Dispense medications and verify prescriptions for safety and accuracy
• Manage inventory and address patient inquiries professionally
• Adapt quickly to dynamic workflow demands and collaborate effectively with team members

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• At least 2 years of recent experience as a staff pharmacist in a high-volume pharmacy setting
• Proficiency with pharmacy software systems, especially Pioneer Rx
• Experience with pharmacy automation and dispensing robots highly preferred
• Strong teamwork, communication skills, and pharmacy intuition
• Ability to adapt and adjust to workload changes promptly

Schedule:

• Fridays: March 20 and 27, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Tuesdays: March 24 and 31, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM
